Welcome to The Referral Orders Wiki
about Best Practice in Youth Offending Panels that anyone can edit

This project aims to provide a comprehensive framework for all those who may be involved with Referral Orders given by the Youth Courts. It covers both general background material as well as specific procedural issues. It is designed to provide information, to give guidance on external constraints such as National Standards, to bring clarity and, above all, a clear policy and procedure to situations around which there may previously have been some uncertainty. It is intended for Staff new to the Youth Offending Service, established staff and volunteer Panel Members across England & Wales. The Association Of Panel Members (AOPM) is promoting this collaboration in partnership with Youth Offending Team practitioners.
